Original animation series Adventures of MOMOKING became a finalist of the Best Animation TV Award at the First China Government Culture & Art Awards, which is the greatest national prize of animation. It was sponsored by Ministry of China, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Science & Technology, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Ministry of Commerce, State Administration of Taxation, State Administration of Industry and Commerce, State General Administration for Radio Film and Television and General Administration of Press and Publication, and held by Cartoon Industry Development Department to encourage more outstanding animation and comics works and push forward the development of cartoon industry. The awards were separated into twelve categories. All legal cartoon works and teams in China from 2006 to 2011 were preliminary candidates. The award proves that outstanding works will glister. In the future, MOMOKING will create more quality animation to the society.
