The well-planned ‘The New Year Celebration of the Descendants of Dragon – 2012 CCTV- Children Gala Evening for Spring Festival’ was showed on CCTV-Children at Chinese New Year’s eve. The evening party that gathered many talented children brought the best wishes to the children and hard-working adults all over the country. This was the first time for CCTV-Children to prepare a gala evening for Spring Festival since the channel had been born eight years ago.
       ‘Celebrating Spring Festival’ was the theme of the gala evening and children were the main characters. And it was the first time to adopt a 360-degree setting. There were a large colorful screen, castles, bridges and many other amazing and traditional props. Many kinds of shows were presented, like hip hop, street dancing, traditional Chinese opera by children, magic show, acrobatic performance, cartoon songs singing, etc. The well-known hosts and hostess of Children’s channel like Ju Ping, Dong Hao, Sister Moon, Sister Deer, etc. showed up too and gave their New Year wishes to all the children. The gala evening was also a party of the favorite cartoon characters. MOMOKING, MOMOQUEEN, Pleasant Goat, Gray Wolf, Black Cat the Detective and some cartoon stars gathered in the spot.
